I love it!

I'm told that the ranch where Cheney and pal were hunting is pretty much a trout farm for quail ... where they actually remove the birds' wings to make them easier to shoot. And Cheney still hit his companion's face with his shot.

In all fairness, Cheney was behaving under standard hunting protocol, and it was the guy who wandered into Cheney's field of fire. I hate Cheney, but this truly was an accident that wasn't his fault.

Cheney ought to be ashamed of himself. Those are pen raised birds that he shot. About 70 of them. That's not hunting, that's slaughtering. Disgusting.
